President Jim Brown Quits SkyBiz!

The SkyBiz Crash & Burn Continues

DATELINE: August 28. 2001

To all Skybiz Leaders:

As you all know, Skybiz.com created a worldwide phenomenon that literally changed the way traditional network marketing had taken place over the last 50 years. Never in the history of this industry has such momentum been seen. In just over 2 1/2 years, Skybiz signed up approximately 2,000,000 sites in over 240 countries. This my friends is a Guinness World Book Record that I doubt will soon be broken. Along with this performance came a record-breaking commission payout that very few distributors in this industry have experienced. What an incredible story this has been. The Skybiz family demonstrated itself to be a strong, well-knit body of believers that defies all standards. I am so humbled and proud to be associated as one of you, even though I carried the title of President. What an honor and privilege to have led this family through the unknown paths of the e-world, especially in the mlm arena. I have always said it was much more fun to be out front, blazing the trails than to be a part of the status quo. We proved it could be done and we did it, I call this success.

Success: Most everyone I have known, longs to experience success. Thousands of Skybizzers who have previously tried their hand at this mlm business with other companies, experienced success for the very first time with our program.

Why? "First Mover Advantage", that's why. Many companies have since tried to copy or duplicate Skybiz but they lack the two most important ingredients, originality and passion. Very simple and yet so profound.

Have you ever heard this expression, familiarity breeds contempt . How about, success breeds contempt. Another definition of contempt would be jealousy. Skybiz has had a continuous barrage of attacks since its inception. One can write off the scam sites and mlm watchdogs very easily as they are usually put together by individuals who have failed miserably in the mlm industry and are using this venue as a means of self-gratification. Many use these methods to try and recruit the names they gather into their own mlm program. Integrity is an unknown word with these types.

WWSN NOTE:

Let's get out the violins - we're sure that SkyBiz's problems had NOTHING to do with massive front-loading, lousy technical support, bad customer service, an inferior product, and attorney Charles Cleveland's willingness to officially approve the purchase of 21 SkyBiz web sites for the expressed purpose of maximizing income. The FTC simply had nothing better to do...

Why would I even mention them, because programs like ours challenge the status quo and always will, so be encouraged, the industry is alive and well and will continue well into the 21st century.

What about Skybiz.com and the current FTC situation. You are well aware that to date we have no ruling by the Judge on the FTC motion for preliminary injunction. The appointed receiver has not fulfilled the terms of the court order in keeping Skybiz alive and well and all appearances indicate that their ultimate goal is to liquidate Skybiz.com and therefore eliminate the need to make a decision. Many of our vendors have not been paid. Commission checks that were issued before the receiver took control were bounced on purpose. Bank accounts were closed before checks had cleared, all meant to show Skybiz.com as the culprit. Not once, since inception, did Skybiz.com ever miss paying commissions on a weekly basis. All of our suppliers received their payments on time, every time. We have not been able to sell this incredible product for close to three months, while continuing to maintain the hundreds of thousands of web sites and the infrastructure. This inability to generate new sales and pay commissions has caused a mass exodus of associates and understandably so.

We have continued to keep you updated on a weekly basis through emails and conference calls. We have held nothing back and have tried to keep all of you positive and encouraged, as we believed that a decision could happen at any moment. It is obviously not so. I cannot continue to encourage you to Hang in there with false hope when the most recent postings on the tentative court dates clearly indicate that this process could probably be delayed for several months. The damage that has occurred as a result of this delay is evidenced in yours and our lives, both corporately and personally. The hopes and dreams that all of us have clung to are now smothered by this silence. If only a spark of hope could be seen, something that could cause this fire to light again. It is with a deep sense of disappointment and pain to pronounce the inevitable but I must do so. I owe each and every one of you this courtesy. Does this mean that we are giving up the fight? No way! We will continue to fight this judgment to the highest courts of the land because we feel that first of all, there was insufficient evidence submitted by the FTC to support the TRO and secondly the evidence submitted did not meet the judicial standard to even issue the TRO. We believe there was never a basis nor enough evidence to justify this action. Only time will reveal the truth in this matter. It is evident that Skybiz.com has been singled out by the FTC as there are many other companys who have copied our product and compensation program and continue to do business without the Gov t intervention.

I am grateful for each and every one of our associates who saw the dream, caught the vision, jumped on board and became loyal Skybizzers. Many of us have now established friendships and great business contacts thoughout the world that we would like to keep in touch with. I want you to know that you are released from any sense of obligation to Skybiz.com. I encourage every one of you to do what you must to provide the lifestyle that you deserve and desire for your family. Life is about progression, going forward, not dwelling in the past and I understand that all of you have responsibilities and obligations to live up to. I too have many commitments and responsibilities that demand my immediate attention. One cannot survive on hope alone, that won t pay the bills.

On Thursday, I was approached by a traditional business (non mlm) with an offer that I am seriously considering. Marketing has always been my specialty and I now have the opportunity to help develop the marketing strategies for a number of high tech companies.

Because of the current circumstances, and with a sense of inevitability, I must look to the future for my family and myself. I wanted you as leaders to hear this from me first hand, before word got out though the network. What an adventure and what a pleasure it has been traveling the world, developing business relationships as well as great friendships with phenomenal caring people that I have come to value, respect and love. It is my sincerest prayer that each and every one of you will continue to pursue your goals and not allow this very unfortunate incident to kill the precious dreams that reside in your hearts. I have made it a strong point to always be as close as a phone call or an email to each and every one of the associates around the world. They said I couldn t possibly keep up with the workload, but I proved that statistic wrong also. It s all about people and relationships. This is the one area that the bureaucrats know nothing about. Their world is about backstabbing and "what s in it for me". Who needs it? I refuse to operate in that realm.

On behalf of my wife, children and myself, I wish all of you the very best for the future, with Gods richest blessings.

Who knows, we may have the opportunity to become partners again.

Remember, I am only a phone call or email away.

Kind regards

Jim Brown
